“Mom, do you like Christmas or Easter better?” My daughter asked me this question out of the blue the other day.
I told her I couldn’t pick one or the other.
“Why not?”
“Without Easter, Christmas is just another baby born in a small, crowded town 2,000 years ago. Without Christmas, Easter is just another Roman crucifixion.”

Every prophecy, every miracle, every word of the Word made flesh. It all comes together in one Life – in one Man. It’s one story - the whole story.
And besides, maybe the question should be, “Do you like Hanukkah or Passover better?”
But that’s another story…
